Happy St Patrick's Day
Yesterday we got to be in a parade and throw the beads instead of being the to catch them. Our daughter in laws family always does it every year and I was already going to let my daughter Melanie be in it. Yesterday morning at 7 am my husband decides we all was going to go. We got ready to go and met with everyone over at daughter in law Beth's parents house to finish decorating the float. The parade started at 2 pm and we finished decoraring and left to go get in line for the parade. Shannon sat on a stool next to me facing me and her back to the people on the streets. At first I didn't know if she was going to throw any beads or not. When things got started I found out quick enough. I would give her bead and she would throw them over head backwards and she didn't even look to see where they were going. I tried to get her to turn around but I guess she was to scared to turn. But she had a great time and she wasn't the only one. It is a nice family thing to do.
We are planning on doing it again next year.
